Harbour Bridge, 2021
acrylic on canvas, 130×100 cm

Standing sentinel across the Waitemata Harbour, the Auckland Harbour Bridge is a crucial piece of infrastructure. It connects the metropolis of the central business district to the North Shore and beyond to Northland. The Auckland Harbour Bridge was officially opened on Saturday 30 May 1959, after many years in the making.

It is an eight-lane highway bridge that is the second longest road bridge in New Zealand and the longest in the North Island.
